Is Forefoot Striking Better for Running?

Forefoot striking is better than heel striking when running! This is because landing with a forefoot strike is how humans interact best when running since it’s how humans evolved to run barefoot for hunting. Not to mention, modern-day habitual barefoot runners land with a forefoot strike, not a heel strike. Heel striking when running is a consequence of thick heeled running shoes and its landing pattern that we haven’t adapted for, which is why heel strike running is consistently correlated with all running injuries.
