I was inspired by the great Tirunesh Dibaba to try forefoot running. Now, I'm injury free. This is why I launched Run Forefoot, to advocate the health & performance benefits of forefoot running and to raise awareness on the dangers of heel striking, because the world needs to know.

  1. Hi. I need some help.Switched to forefoot running after watching the Kenyans and i am glad I did. I have been in Newton shoes ever since. I’m ready to order another pair, but I see that you do not mention them in your shoe lists. They don’t seem to have much cushion under the forefoot. It’s thicker there, but also quite hard. My forefoot starts hurting after a few hundred miles, so I am a little spooked about going with less cushion. Do you suggest a shoe for me with some cushion that will hold up. I am 73 and run 25-40 mile weeks at 10-12 minute pace. They would be for my daily training.
