Is Forefoot Running Better for Your Shins?

Forefoot running was found to be significantly safer on your shins than heel strike running. As it turns out, landing on the balls of your foot (i.e. your forefoot) while running instantly aligns a more vertical shin upon and at touchdown, which dramatically reduces the impacts blamed for tibia fracture.
