Heel Strike vs Forefoot Strike – How Should Your Foot Hit When Running?

The biggest problem with heel strike running is it accounts for nearly all injuries because landing heel-first results in a much more extended leg at touchdown, leading to higher rates of braking, compressive loading and bone stress.
