  1. My favourite way is to practice meditation, before the race. Then at then, at the start, close your eyes and picture yourself running on a favourite trail, effortlessly and simply remain there, till the race starts. Works for me. The key is to practice meditation, before the race.

    im looking into a 11 3/4 inches ( my longest foot ) on the narrow side really with a longer big toe. ( im 6 foot at 157 lbs )
    im split between ( following my appreciation of your reviews ) Spyridon MR Elite and KMD EVO and KMD Sport LS and why not the V-Run… which one you think would fit the best for me ? a 48 or a 47 ? D width preferably…
    my fear is being too lose because of my narrow feet… intends are road halfs, and trails -50km.

  12. Hi Bretta, great site. I’ve been forefoot running for about 5 months. I never thought I’d run again after 2 knee surgeries. I was doing great until I started getting bad calf strains. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. I did get sore calves at the beginning but they gradually went away until a few weeks ago. Now they’re really bad. Even after a week of rest they will come back after only a few minutes of running. Not sure what the problem is.
