The vast majority of world record holders in distance running, from 5,000-m to the marathon, are not heel strikers, they are forefoot runners because for one, it’s the least impact-intensive style of running. There’s also little to no impact at the heel, which cancels out ongoing heel issues. For another, unlike heel strike running, forefoot running pulls the foot in a more economic and safe position to your center mass (your hips). This not only eliminates high brake forces, it also gives you a continuous, bigger boost in forward momentum by making it possible for more energy-saving elastic power to be stored in the arch of the foot and the Achilles tendon.   1. I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the structure of your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
