The Merrell Trail Glove 4 Runner barefoot trail running shoe is made of pure vegan-friendly construction and sits on a fantastically thin, slip-resistant, Vibram rubber sole that offers dependable protection in that your underfoot can barely feel any sharp jagged rocks. The sole is 3-mm thin with a 3-mm shallow lug depth for extra traction on slick rocks and the sole is also 0 dropped (completely flat) to encourage a forefoot strike more easily during running. "I believe the forefoot strike is the engine of endurance running..."
BSc Neurobiology; MSc Biomechanics candidate, ultra minimalist runner & founder of RunForefoot. I was a heel striker, always injured. I was inspired by the great Tirunesh Dibaba to try forefoot running. Now, I'm injury free. This is why I launched Run Forefoot, to advocate the health & performance benefits of forefoot running and to raise awareness on the dangers of heel striking, because the world needs to know.
