Is Heel Striking Bad for Shin Splints vs Forefoot Running?

Volumes of data have consistently proven that there’s more rising tides of dangerous impact on the lower leg that causes shin splints, shin fracture and chronic lower leg pain in heel strike running but not in forefoot running. This is because forefoot running automatically improves the position of your shin bone at landing that translates into more protective means to avoid a major leg injury, such as shin fracture.
