What is Forefoot Running

What is forefoot running? A proper forefoot strike landing during running involves making initial ground-contact towards the outer-side of the forefoot just underneath the 4th and 5th toes. Landing with a forefoot strike when running may also give you greater access to spring energy in the elastic structures of the lower leg and may significantly unburden the ankles, shins, knees and hips as compared with heel strike running.
