I own these shoes since 6 years. I used them occasionally for short run and often as backup shoes when travelling, because they are really super thin and light. Recently I started to run a bit more seriously and after my first half marathon I suffered a little injury yo my knee. So after a certain period I started back to tun but this time I’ve chisen to learn how to properly run in order to don’t get injured anymore (hopefully). So here I am with my old puma, I’m 77 kg 1,78 cm. Low body fat, not super light but neither that big. I run my first km wjth puma 2 weeks ago, started from 3km this morning I did 7km. The shoes help me shortening the steps and increasing the frequency, of course I’m thinking about it but the favt that they less cushioned helps me reminding. I’m focusing on posture so I don’t mind the timing. Last 2 training I also added some sprints at the end of the training and I really felt the bottom of the feet working when hitting the surface, I think it’s good to train also that.
Conclusions:
I would love to find another pair of these shoes….but it doesn’t seem easy
I owned a metallic golden with little red details back in 2004 and I can’t even find and image of this model anywhere, I wish I could find just a picture let alone another pair.
my favourite shoes ever! Unfortunately, they seem to have discontinued these shoes. I wish I had bought several pairs years ago when they were still available. The pair I own are seriously worn out by now but I keep them as reference — on several occasions I took them shoe-shopping and showed them to the sales people to see if they could show me a similar type of shoe – no luck so far! PUMA – PLEASE START REMAKING THESE SHOES!!!
