Is Forefoot Running Better?

More evidence is revealing that when it comes to injury prevention and even improved running economy, forefoot running may better than heel strike running. For instance, in forefoot running, there’s a greater degree of smoothness of the foot with the ground at touchdown which results in reduced brake load and jolt (jerk force). There’s also less burst of impact and compressive waves at the knees, hips and lower back as compared with heel strike running. Read more here!
