Is Running on Forefoot Bad? NO! Its Better than Heel Striking

Firm evidence over the last decade has shown that the only way to get a runner out of injury is to avoid heel striking, and instead, land with a forefoot strike. For instance, landing forefoot-first automatically engages a more functional mechanical re-alignment of the leg that allows for a shorter stride length that reduces all the opposing forces that causes shin fracture as compared with heel strike running.
