Is it Bad to Run in Cushioned Shoes?

Its not just the feet that weaken with routine use of conventional running shoes, the ankles become weak, too! This is because ankle range of motion is sharply restricted as compared with barefoot conditions. Its the narrow, inflexible fit of most conventional running shoes where the feet and the ankles have a limited range of physical engagement thereby limiting strength development in these key areas.
