When it comes to runners knee prevention, running with a forefoot strike is part of the solution, but not the entire solution. The better answer is there’s a strong relationship between upper body posture and runner’s knee whereby research has shown that you get consistently good results in knee injury prevention when you lean forward in conjunction with forefoot striking when you run.
