Is Forefoot Running Better for Your Feet? YES!

In addition to reducing brake loads and compressive forces on the foot, landing on your forefoot, not your toes, but on the balls (i.e. your forefoot which is the widest portion of your foot), results in a larger foot contact area to more widely distribute impact pressure, making your feet MUCH less vulnerable to the ravages of the road as compared with heel strike running.
