How Can I Stop My Legs From Hurting When I Run?

The best way to resolve leg pain when running is to make sure you’re not landing with a heel strike, and instead, land with a forefoot strike, which means not landing on your toes, but lower on the balls of the foot. This is because heel strike running is notoriously bad for the leg, not just by burdening the leg with more impact loads, but by causing the stance leg to be more unbalanced and ‘wobbly’, which increases the risk for a hyperextension injury to the leg.
